In 2018 I moved to Utah with my sister who is in the Air Force when she got her new orders.
I was at the recruiting soon after trying to find a good daycare to work at that was not on base where I lived.
I found one but the vibes was off.
I enlisted in the Navy, entered the Delayed Entry Program, was preparing to become a Logistics Specialist, and had a projected June 11, 2019 departure date for boot camp.

A family emergency came up and I had to pull and moved to Colorado.
I had the ASVAB, the oath, a likely ship date, and a Logistics Specialist pathway all lining up β and then my life went in a completely different direction.
What gets me is that the type of work still echoes forward: organization, records, supplies, coordination, keeping a million moving parts straight. Different uniform, wildly different setting. π
Itβs the kind of thing that makes you look back at 2018 and go, βOh wowβ¦ I was much closer to an entirely different life than I realized.
Im a assistant director at a daycare currently and pretty much do logistics specialist for kiddos π
Just crazy how life can take a turn and change so fast.
